SRB Agreement with Quebec

Following the past cooperation since 2005 and the strong mutual relationships between SRB and University of Montreal in Quebec, built on trust and common interests, SRB and Quebec signed an agreement.

According to The Office of Public Relations of SRB, the agreement is aimed at making both parties enabled to cooperate in the promotion of education, research, training and exchanging of ideas and staff.

The parties to the agreement support mutual exchange of professors and administrative staff to develop scientific and academic cooperation, which is based on the academic, scientific, technological and experimental activities.

The maximum period of each academic exchange will be one academic year and before getting the process started, the parties will be evaluating knowledge and language of the nominated students, who are about to be participated at the project.

According to the agreement, the students who are sent won't be charged by the host University for Fees. The parties may each field and/or nominate a certain number of professors and to visit the target university to provide education, guide theses, carry out mutual researches, participate in seminars and conference on common interests and discussed topics.

The validity of the agreement will be for 5 years from the date signing date and the department which is in charge from SRB is the Material Engineering Department in collaboration with International Affairs. On the other side the Technical University in Quebec, Canada's International Cooperation Department with the Department of Mechanical Engineering are responsible.
